Slicer

Hi there,

I slice my 3D models with Prusa Slicer, but when I want to print it with my Prusa Mini, the printer won't recognize it. It displays the file, but says it is not suitable for the printer. When I print start, he also prints something, but most of the time it doesn't stick. It works again for the test files.

What can I change?

RE: Slicer

Do you have a prusa mini profile installed in Prusa Slicer and if so have you actually selected it to be used when slicing for generating the gcode ?

You cant just use any old profile, slicing using a MK3 profile for example is not suitable for a mini which is why there are some safe guards built into the firmware.

MODERATOR - Please move this thread to a more appropriate forum.

@schneider-rahel:  I guess there's more than one issue here.

First check: You do have Prusa Mini selected in the dropdown in the right hand pane?

If so then save your project as a .3mf file

Files > Save Project as

Zip the .3mf and post it here. It will contain both your part and your settings for us to diagnose.

Cheerio,
