I found bottom layers of support structures like supports and rafts hard to remove on Prusa PEI sheets, would those even be removable at all? 😆

[...] As far as adhesive power to the print, these are by far the strongest so far.  I would not dream of using them with PETG.

I have several of the Overture sheets and have one side of a spring steel sheet covered in BuildTak. I've trashed several of them trying PETG, so have relegated them to PLA only. They're definitely good at holding, but don't release when cooled. If you see a video of someone hammering on a print to remove it from a cheap printer, they're probably printing on a fake BuildTak surface. They make a lot of sense if printing on an unheated bed. Most of the manufacturers seem to have shifted away from these surfaces to glass or Ultrabase-style glass, and all new printers over $150 seem to include a heated bed.

My experience is that these surfaces might be useful for a few specific situations, but that they're so prone to damage that they're a pain for regular usage. I haven't used one in over a year.

I am looking forward to your final report on the printing plates for the i3 and the mini. The tests will surely take a lot of time.
The market has become big, the products vary a lot and it is not easy to find really good quality.

I just finished two more.  I have tested the Overture free sheet and Bondtech.  I think these are similar to the Duramic.

I am calculating the results.  I am very surprised by the results not the Bondtac.  We have new winner in adhesion, but it may be too good.

I am thinking about adjusting for value.  How would you determine value?  One part would be price.

Price may not be as important if a cheap surface wears out quick.

Are tested sheets tested on both sides if they have sheets on both sides?

But price should be included in the review.

A price-per-surface (side of a reversible sheet) would be helpful. That way, you can easily compare differences using a combination of products. For the textured sheets, you get 2 sides for the price. For applied sheets, I guess you have to pick a neutral blank spring steel sheet and divide that cost among the surface being tested.
