November 2020 update, Black Friday info and MINI+ build instructions

Greetings all.

The November 2020 company update was released here and covers a lot of information;

  • Introduction of the MK3s+, Mini+, and Mini kit.
  • Introduction of the new Satin Steel Sheet
  • Prusaprinters.org updates
  • New Prusament filament
  • Updates on Black Friday deals

Blog post is here and contains a lot more information.

Also for new customers who ordered a Mini, you will be getting the + version, so the updated build instructions are listed here, but note that the pinda+ sensor will be installed

What does "tool changing" mean? "

"And BTW – because we have more time to work on the XL, we decided to add tool changing to it"

@bapski

My guess would be able to run more than 1 filament.

I hope the new SuperPinda fixes the need for warmupas they said in the release.  Placed my order already for the upgrade.

@bapski

It basically means it can change hot ends during the print. see for one in action.

@rockytoptim

Yes.  It should mean no warm-up needed but time will tell when one of these beasties makes it into the wild.
