Network connection with Prusa Mini

I read months ago that Network connection for the Prusa Mini is on the way.

Is it available?

Can I send jobs directly from the PC? Monitor progress/temp etc?

RE: Reply

If you connect your MINI to the network, you can access a basic web interface ("Prusa Connect", soon to be renamed "Prusa Link") in a web browser by typing your printer's IP address, which you can find in the printer's LAN settings. There you can monitor temperatures and some basic stats like print progress, estimated time to completion, etc.

They say they're working on a Wi-Fi add-on, but here I just plugged in a cheap Ethernet-to-WiFi adapter into it which adds wireless capability.

AFAIK you cannot send jobs directly yet.

I was wondering about that. Bummer that we can't send in job yet.

RE: Re

It's true.

I however found OctoPrint perfectly filling this gap. With PortListener plugin it can connect automatically to Mini after the printed has been turned on (before that you had to login to OctoPrint and press Connect every time time you power cycle the printer). I have it installed onto Raspberry-Pi which is enabled all the time.

Not justifying missing feature, but this way I can print directly from PrusaSlicer and it works flawlessly.
