What is going wrong ? December now and I don't see any shipping and no prusaslider update with the mini what was announced that it will be released when the shipping is started. Buying another printer also because the waiting time gets longer by the day.😭

Just saw an article dated December 6th, 2019 on lupa.cz

Před třemi roky vyráběla firma Josefa Průši kolem 500 3D tiskáren měsíčně, dnes je to až 7 tisíc. V říjnu Průša představil kompaktní model tiskárny a během 24 hodin si ji předobjednalo 1200 zájemců.

As of that date, over 7,000 Prusa Mini's had been ordered.   More than 1,200 Prusa Mini's were ordered in the first 24 hours.

My guess is that they delayed the initial shipment for two reasons...   

1st, so that the initial batch of printers would be as good as they could possibly be.

2nd, so that they could ship all the first day orders at nearly the same time.

Based on the information I'm getting from hidden cameras, secret listening devices and spy satellites... I'd say they had about a half that number in their boxes and almost ready to go when they did the announcement. They probably figured that having 600 of them nearly ready to go would cover any first day orders. heh.

Add in the need to partly assemble and prep an additional 600 printers, plus create updated USB sticks with new firmware and it could easily account for a short two-week delay.   My guess is that we'll get shipping announcements by the end of this week for everyone who ordered the first day.

While I have everyone's attention...   Does anyone know the name of the model in the picture below or where I could buy it?

I ordered mine a few hours after it was announced at ERRF. Just got it delivered yesterday evening (December 15, USA).

Maybe the clone parts earlier than the spare parts. And I could bet there already are some of them - only hard to find, because most of cheapest china printers are "prusa i3 mini printer home 3d" tagged.

@charles-h13 Given that our community list has order numbers from 39987 to 40923 on October 12th (a range within 936 orders), and media confirms <1200 Minis ordered on the first day, I guess it is safe to say that statistically at least one Mini is contained per order number (with some being cancelled or aborted orders, and some containing more than one Mini).

We were not far off with assumptions.

Now, the weakness of the waitlist is, that some users cannot maintain their entry for various reasons. It's safe to say that it is more likely that an entry that has changed has been maintained, and that unchanged entries with neighbouring maintained entries are unmaintained.

For day 1, the list has 88 entries; and they are representing 1200 Minis ordered.

With PR saying that most orders of the 12th October will be shipped in 2019, and their business closing from 23rd to 27th December (confirmed on website), and orders actually started shipping on the 10th, I expect <1200 Minis to shipped over eleven working days 10.-13., 16.-20., 30.-31.; we have a 109 shipped per day.

For our list of 88 orders, this means that one order represents 13,6 Minis, while at the same time one working day at PR means shipping 109 Minis; which -after conversion- means that we shall see eight orders from our list change per working day in December.

With 63 shipped or received as of now, and five PR working days behind us, we're 30% over statistical expectation (based on latest lowered PR estimate).

Or in other words: I think those numbers are high 😉

Added my order from Oct 13 to the sheet. 42002 comprising 2 minis; pei + txt, sensor, orange, to USA. Hopefully ships this week?

I ordered the 13th and mine is shipped for delivery tomorrow - I think PR will send most of the orders from 13th before Christmas.

I ordered on the 14th with number 43444, so I am not expecting delivery until Feb 2020...
