Material profiles for Mini on PrusaSlicer.

Rather surprised to see on PrusaSlicer 2.2.1 material profiles for not only ASA, ABS, Flex and TPU but also Nylon (Tauman Bridge) and Polycarbonate (Polymaker PC-Max). I was under the impression that both bed and nozzle were not hot enough (particularly Nylon and PC).

Thoughts anyone?

RE: Material profiles for Mini on PrusaSlicer.

Taulman Bridge doesn't require that much. After all it's not 100% nylon but some kind of blend. It needs 250°C/90°C which is both well under the advertised max temps.

The hotend can easily do Polycarbonate as well. Advertised as up to 280°C, PC requires merely 270°C. The bed temp makes me wonder though. The PC-Max profile I have for my MK3S goes up to 115°C bed temp, which is 15°C over the advertised max on the Mini. And you really do need that high bed temp... or you can only print very small objects without warping. Perhaps you can get away with a slightly lower temperature if you only print on the smooth PEI sheet where overall adhesion is better. Textured sheet definitely needs the temp to keep the print sticking to it.

I have never printed Nylon or Taulman Bridge, so I can only judge this from a theoretical standpoint. I have printed Polycarbonate though. (Polymaker PolyMax PC which is the new name for PC-Max - same product)
