It MUST be printed in Prusament PETG or the spring tension will be wrong.

I have the Ultimaker S5 and it does much better than the top photo.

That photo is typical of a loose belt, on just about any kind of printer.

You may think it's perfect but a Mini can do even better...

I will download those files but as far as I can see from the results of the prints my Mini works fine. And I am only on day three of owning a Prusa Mini+ so I am sure that everything can get better.

Well, I sold my Ultimaker years a go so that problem is out of my hands. I am sure thet the Ultimaker 5 is an excellent printer but it's in a pricerange that is far beyond my wallet and needs. The Mini+ is making 3D printing fun again, and at a much lower price!

It's an amazing machine. I've never thought I'd be able to just draw a CAD file and have a machine make it with greater detail than what my eye can see and all of it hassle free, just start a print, walk away and return to a working thing. Even mechanical parts just fit together, work as I have intended, I'd never be able to create these mechanisms by hand.

I've had my mini+ for one and a half year and it has really fulfilled everything, well apart from maximal dimensions, I've wanted from a machine producing plastic parts.

I was about to creating a similar thread.
Printing PLA was a real joy with my MINI so far.

When I first tried PETG I was worried in multiple dimensions, as I read so many horrible things about it.
But turned out, I also got very very nice results. Minimal angel hairs, nothing serious and good quality.
That was a relieve and I was overjoyed to see, that you don't need voodoo to make it work.

The only thing I realized was, that my PINDA was set quite high in the pre-assembled kit.
With the Satin sheet, my Contact-Z sits at -2000 to get a good 1st layer. But working at the very limit is not optimal, I guess.
(why is the FW locked at -2000 btw?)
So I might need to re-adjust the PINDA to have more breathing room in the future.

But other than that, it works flawlessly since 1,5 years and I'm not regretting a single Euro I spent for that little guy.
And also, I'm quite happy with the Prusa filament.
As a software guy, my only gripe is with the Firmware. It has some quirks and the network connection quality was and still is abyssmal.
(which has gladly been improved in the new beta, but could not test yet)

So overall, I'm pretty happy with the MINI.
People claim, that it even has better print quality than the MK3, which I don't understand, but I'll take it.

@aphaitas I could see where years of experience would help create a machine that is on par or even better than MK3. I love my Mini+ but have been thinking about ordering a MK3 just for bigger prints than won’t fit on the Mini and adding the enclosure for different materials.

Btw, I meant "PINDA set too low", not too high. (I adjusted the probe now)
Kinda counter-intuitive. It was actually almost at the level of the nozzle. So way too low.
But that's not the fault of the printer. So my point still stands.  😉 
When I read that some people are running 4 or 5 MINIs 24/7 and even prefer them when the size allows it,
I feel confirmed in what I see with mine.
