Created a Blob...a spark...and then nothing. 🙁

So this morning awoke to a nasty big blob that my Mini had created over night. (attached)   In the process of cleaning it (I raised the temp of the hotend so I could melt the blob and remove it from the printer), there was a spark around the wires coming from the fan area and then the whole thing went dead.  I unplugged it...waited a moment and tried to start it back up, but no luck.   I'm HOPING that there is a fuse in there somewhere that shorted out when some wires touched?  I really hope the whole thing isn't fried.

Anyone have some suggestions on where I can start looking for the issue?

When the printer is working, it's awesome.  But then sometimes I feel like it takes on a mind of its own and just decides to cause me trouble.  LoL

Thanks in advance for your help1

First unplug the heater as that will be the problem there should be a fuse on the main board and possibly on the psu

Looking at the schematics, you probably blew fuse F1, the 7.5 amp fuse. Seethis page for how to replace the buddy board. Hopefully you don’t need to do that, but it shows how to access it, how to remove and plug in cables (if needed) and how to close the box again.
