RE: 4.4.0 beta firmware with wifi / Prusalink support
Does anyone know when 4.4.0 will come out of Beta.. I don't really want to use Beta firmware, so have been waiting for the final release.. But its been ages...
RE: 4.4.0 beta firmware with wifi / Prusalink support
The RC1 was released yesterday. Still not final release but not beta anymore and close to finalization (last time it took 3 weeks from RC1 to final release).

RE: 4.4.0 beta firmware with wifi / Prusalink support
I have the strange problem that when homing the y axis before starting the print the printer makes a squeeking noise as if it wants to push the plate to far out. Did anyone experience this?
RE: 4.4.0 beta firmware with wifi / Prusalink support
are you using newest prusaslicer?
RE: 4.4.0 beta firmware with wifi / Prusalink support
Did upgrade to the newest version now. However problem persists :/
RE: 4.4.0 beta firmware with wifi / Prusalink support
I was just given a WiFi module over the weekend (thanks!) and went ahead and installed it. Physical install was easy, just a bit fiddly getting things aligned under the wires. Firmware update went smoothly--I'm on 4.4.0-RC1. Hooked up to my network and PrusaLink came right up. I haven't had a chance to run the printer yet.

Hi all!
In order to use the new web interface for the Mini, is the Wifi module necessary? Or can I just upgrade to the newest firmware and connect via Ethernet?
Thanks!

You need to add/install the wifi module, and then update to the beta firmware, in order to use it

You don't need to use WiFi. It also works via Ethernet without the WiFi module. You just need to load the latest firmware.

Oh sorry yeah you can use ethernet, I missed that part. Although wasn't there already a web interface before the beta firmware.
RE: 4.4.0 beta firmware with wifi / Prusalink support
Hi,
I only use PLA on my MINI, but since using Beta1, now RC, my existing gcode files complain I haven't loaded PLA. I am using latest Prusaslicer and re-slice my models, but it still complains the gcode isn't for PLA......but it is.
RE: 4.4.0 beta firmware with wifi / Prusalink support
The RC1 has been fantastic for me, and resolved all of the issues I had in the beta. My biggest complaint/suggestion is file sorting. Please please give us the option to sort by name.
