12 Animal paperclips - only want to print 10

My apologies for this follow up post but when I load the Paperclips Collection- Trombone (with many animal paperclips) I found on Thingiverse as an stl and then place the cursor over one of the animal paperclips I do not want and Hold down the Ctrl key it highlights all the prints. I can't seem to get it to highlight just 1 paperclip to delete at a time. I so appreciate your help in diagnosing what I'm missing and how to correct it. I can't recall if I can attach the stl file here?  - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1372960. Thank you.

my first thought would be simply to create a box as negative volume in the slicer, scale as needed and place it over what I don't want? Use the slicer preview to iterate.

We'll just put some bleachers out in the sun-And have it on Highway 61

RE:

Go to the edit tab in Prusa slicer then choose deselect all. Then delete the objects individually until there are only the ones that you want to print remaining.

Two ways:

The designer provides individual files for each of the designs - download just those required.

The combined stl can be broken to objects (button at top of slicer pane) after which individual objects can be selected and deleted.

- but those shapes do look fragile...

Cheerio,

Hi Diem... Once in the Prusa Slicer 2.9.4 I choose the Split to Objects (double box - proper name for that tab?) and then I can delete each Paperclip 1st the animal top and then the paperclip bottom by pressing the Delete key on the computer keyboard. When I press the Slice button I get the attached error message which I'm not sure what it means?

Would I instead, after the deleting the unwanted Bookmarks, Save Project as a .3mf and then import that saved .3mf into the Prusa Slicer to then Slice it?

I confess I hadn't bothered to download the file til now - that's really tacky design...

The originals were made with one paperclip design repeated then the decorative tops just placed against them without actually joining so that when split each one came apart ...

The answer is to select all and merge them (right click option) as the original designer did - but don't bother with the heart as it is tilted in such a way that the print will almost certainly detach and fail.

Cheerio,
