300-400mm cubed with a tool changer as an option.  It will be a core XY printer.  That is about all that has been released.

Ha, exactly what I was expecting for "something serious" (coreXY and tool changer). I'm afraid it will be too much expensive for me in any case, but I will follow eagerly the latest news when I come across them 🙂 Thanks, Chuck.

Dans le détail nous ne savons rien. Sauf que l'imprimante qui est dans la ferme est sur la même base que la Prusa XL, mais que ce n'est PAS la Prusa XL... Soyons patient.

ca a l'air pas mal du tout, ca ressemble beaucoup a ma "bête", 2 rails sur Z et 3 pour XY, j'attend le prix 😋

elle est annoncée entre 1200 & 1500$

Si le reste est au même niveau, carte 32bits, moteurs Z indépendant avec correction, c'est tout a fait correct

J'ai suivi les annonces sur Twitter, puis ai été content d'avoir un vrai résumé explicatif dans le blog 🙂 Ce que j'en retiens, comme le relève @adesir, c'est que ce n'est pas la Prusa XL, mais "une" Prusa CoreXY. La Prusa XL sera plus grande et aura des options de changement d’outil. Mais au moins nous avons la confirmation indirecte que la XL sera montée sur des rails cubiques et qu'elle sera en core XY.

Le prix annoncé par @vincentm correspond en effet à ce que disait Josef Prusa il y a presque un an, mais je pense maintenant que ce ne sera que le prix du ticket d'entrée, hors les options (dont le changement d'outil).

Allez, encore quelques semaines/mois d'attente. Malheureusement pour moi, ce sera une imprimante hors budget, il me faudra me contenter d'une Mk4 lorsque le besoin d'une nouvelle machine sera impérieux 🙂

C'était il me semble en début d'année, de la bouche de Josef lui-même, lorsqu'il a ouvert la porte aux spéculations sur la XL. Il avait annoncé un prix plus élevé que la Mk3, probablement aux alentours de 1200-1500€. Je ne sais plus si c'était pendant un Live (je ne crois pas), sur le blog Prusa (je ne retrouve pas) ou sur un autre média. J'ai en tout cas lu/entendu/compris la même chose il y a bon moment de ça. Et oui, sûr et certain que ça venait de Prusa et non pas de la communauté 😉

I followed the announcements on Twitter, then was happy to have a real explanatory summary in the blog 🙂 What I remember, as @adesir points out, is that it's not the Prusa XL, but "a" Prusa CoreXY. The Prusa XL will be larger and will have tool change options. But at least we have indirect confirmation that the XL will be mounted on cubic rails and that it will still be XY.

The price announced by @vincentm indeed corresponds to what Josef Prusa said almost a year ago, but I now think that it will only be the price of the entrance ticket, excluding the options (including the tool change) .

Come on, a few more weeks / months of waiting. Unfortunately for me, it will be an off-budget printer, I will have to settle for a Mk4 when the need for a new machine is imperative.

I think this is correct from what I hear and have read on facebook and the blog.  I think the new “Pro” is designed for a different crowd than the XL.

It was, it seems to me, at the start of the year, from the mouth of Josef himself, when he opened the door to speculation about the XL. He had announced a higher price than the Mk3, probably around 1200-1500 €. I don't know if it was during a Live (I don't think so), on the Prusa blog (I can't find it) or on another media. In any case, I read / heard / understood the same thing a long time ago. And yes, sure and certain that it came from Prusa and not from the community

It was announced during a conference 1-2 years ago and has been confirmed during vlog and blog posts.

oui j'ai vu ça , magnifique et impressionnant, idée, système, couleur les mecs chez prusa vraiment..
