OrcaSlicer with Filament DB Integration - Can now share and update filaments together with PrusaSlicer
The first (and very Alpha) version of OrcaSlicer with connectivity to Filament-DB. This will allow you to share filament settings between OrcaSlicer, PrusaSlicer and keep them automatically in-sync with filaments stored in the cloud, locally or both. Change settings in one, it shows up in the other.
The motivation for this was that I was using OrcaSlicer calibration tools to create filament calibrations for PrusaSlicer but to do so I had to manually copy values between the two applications. Also, OrcaSlicer has features PrusaSlicer lacks like auto tree supports and mouse ears (to name a some of many). Or in some cases found myself bouncing between the two applications as my mood changed.
In order to make this work you first install the Filament-DB, import your filaments from PrusaSlicer Filament DB Edition and then run OrcaSlicer Filament DB Edition. The OrcaSlicer MacOS build had issues but should be available in the next hour or so. The PrusaSlicer version is beta and Filament DB is late beta or maybe release candidate stage.
