Resuming Print Issues After Filament Change on Prusa MK4S
’m experiencing a small issue with my Prusa MK4S (without MMU) when printing in dual color by changing the filament during the print. I primarily work with PLA and PETG.
To change the filament, I integrate an M600 code at the layer height where I want this to occur in my slicer, OrcaSlicer. The machine stops at the designated layer, beeps for me to come, and I change the filament. After a purge, it asks me if the color is correct. Generally, everything goes smoothly in 99.9% of the cases.
However, I've noticed that when the print resumes, a small droplet of PLA forms at the end of the nozzle while the head is stopped. When the nozzle touches the piece to resume printing, it leaves a small blob, which is really annoying.
Do you have any suggestions on how to avoid this little problem? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
