Printer begins with a y-offset after filament runs out and new filament is added during mid print.
Getting a frustrating issue when a print is in progress of a print and the filament runs out. After adding a new spool, and resume printing there's probably a quarter inch or less in mm of y-offset that occurs on the print. There's no bumps to the printer or printer head that would cause this adjustment during the filament change, so why does it do this? Cleaned all the rods and re-greased but issue still persists. Is it a bug in the software that it doesn't remember where it left off?
