Pause causes layer drop
I'm trying to print a part with a pause to drop in a magnet. After the pause it drops that layer.
Any ideas on what might be going on?
RE: Pause causes layer drop
I believe that was a bug that got corrected with a firmware update. Do you have the latest firmware?

Connect says the firmware is current.
RE:
Yes, it printed fine without the pause. The pause was set in PrusaSlicer.
I did several test prints to see if I could isolate it to the model. The original prints had a left and right mirrored part. The right part did not have the dropped layer.
So, I copied and mirrored the right part in PrusaSlicer to see if it was model related. Still printed with the layer drop.
I exported new parts from Fusion and tested again. Got layer drops in both parts this time. The pause was later in the print this time, so different layer in the sliced model than where I saw the drop previously.
I ended up creating new parts that I had to orient differently and those printed without dropped layer.
I still have the bad parts. I think I still have the bgcode and .3mf if anyone wants to take a look. I loaded the bgcode in the gcode viewer and couldn’t see anything obvious. If anyone knows how to convert the bgcode to gcode, I know how to read gcode and could look for obvious anomalies around the pause M-code. If it is just zipped, I can likely unzip it. Just ran out of time trying to figure it out.
