How do I get smooth sides to this ?

Hi, I am trying to print this model created in Rhino and exported as a .OBJ and when it prints in PLA there appears to be ribs protruding through the skin, when it should be smooth ...anyone have an ideas please ...?

Thanks

What you're seeing is that Rhino, on exporting it to a format for printing, is approximating those curves with straight lines.  While 3D printing with true curves is indeed possible, Rhino doesn't export gcode that does so; instead, you're presumably exporting to STL or OBJ, which reduces curved surfaces to mesh.

If you want smoother curves, you need to export at a higher resolution.  I don't work with Rhino so I can't give you details there, but if you search for 'Rhino export stl', you'll find plenty of tutorials showing how to adjust that resolution.
