Brim develops wavy lines is uneven
Hi everyone,
I'm a new mk4s owner and have printed maybe a dozen things without brims without issue. However, I was printing two large items which cover the length of the print bed and after the first attempt had warped corners that indicate the need for a brim. I added a brim in prusa slicer and made it 10mm. Adhesion problems fixed but after about the fifth time around on the brim the printer started printing in splotches. Or with very uneven extrusion.
Certainly it is not in nice straight even lines. As far as I can tell there's nothing in the slicer that's doing this and none of my non brim prints have had the issue. I did try smaller brims (6 and 3, but 3 was too small to keep good adhesion) but both showed the same issue. Ultimately, it makes the brim really difficult to remove cleanly.
Is there some setting I need to change or fix to ensure the bring continues to be printed in straight lines?
Hopefully the pics help explain what I'm trying to describe. Some of the shots are from the plate as the brim was being printed. The others are from the completed print but from the bottom of the brim where you can see the pattern go from straight lines to this uneven, splotchy pattern.
