Y-axis layer shifting.

I’ve had several prints fail on my MK4S from y-axis layer shifts. It never happened when it was a MK4, so I’m presuming it’s an upgrade mistake. The audio sample test said belt tension was fine though. And the y-axis upgrade was pretty simple so I’m not sure where to go from here. So I’m looking for diagnostic suggestions…

The printer started out as a MK4 kit and worked flawlessly the whole time. The only hardware mods I’ve made are the 4->4s upgrade kit.

RE: Y-axis layer shifting.

Try raising nozzle temperature 10 degrees, especially on the speed setting.  The faster speeds can lead to underextrusion, which then can lead to a layer shift.
