USB not able to insert fully with new cover design

I upgraded all my MK4 printers to the MK4S, but I noticed that with the new LCD cover I am no longer able to insert the USB drive in fully. On the new cover, there is a piece of plastic that that is probably about 2mm high that stops the USB drive from being inserted. The piece of plastic ends up hitting the lip/edge of the USB drive. Does anyone know why this was done? The older MK4 cover did not have this. I've gotten one USB read error now on the MK4S which is likely from the drive not being fully inserted, as I never had that problem on the regular MK4 (using the same drives).

I have not found this problem.  My new cover does not obstruct the USB.  Did you figure out if this was a problem with your extruded cover?

If you have a slim USB drive like the ones that come with the printer you won't run into the problem. Any USB drive with a shoulder will have a problem though. I have the PNY USB 3.0 drives, and unfortunately they will not insert fully.

Ah, I see.  You are right.  I am not using the original Prusa USB (that died about 4 months into ownership...) but a new one that is also slim.
