Re-print - Nozzle Cleaning - Better automation? Big spool problems.

I recently got 3 Mk4s machines, I plan to build a small print farm for my business with them. Seems like a pretty solid printer so far. However, one thing that's really bugging me is the auto bed level/nozzle cleaning routine. To get that perfect first layer I have to manually remove the little bit of excess filament ooz from the end of the last print, other wise the bed level is thrown off by a small amount. Has anyone got a work around? Perhaps altered start/finish script to clean the nozzle manually/retract?

Another problem I'm having is using 2.2kg spools, they're on 4 rollers with bearings, very little resistance to pull material off the spool, however sometimes its enough to trigger the Z height homing before the nozzle reaches the bed, it also seems to introduce a very subtle pattern into large spiral mode prints. Has anyone else had any issues using heavier spools of filament?

Any info/input appreciated. I'm new to the Prusa community but I've heard good things!

Wish I had the answer but you're not alone with this. Usually with PLA it's not a problem but PETG, ASA, etc., the "always perfect" layer is everything but without manually adjusting Live Z when the print starts. Picking up every little piece of filament helps but not all the time.

Right same thing it oozes just a little before starting first layer and sometime it effects the first layer
