Prusa Slicer Temp settings not uploading to printer
Ive had this issue for almost a year now (as long as Ive had the MK4). I set the nozzle temp in Prusa Slicer and when I put the flash drive into the printer and check, it always reverts back to 170. I have had to set the temp manually on the printer for every single print I have ever done. This is frustrating. Any help?
If I go check my slicer right now it says 215 nozzle temp, but the printer reverts back to 170

Hi Phil
The printer Is programmed to use a lower temperature for z levelling, then step up to print temperature afterwards.

RE: Prusa Slicer Temp settings not uploading to printer
I recently purchased the MK4S, and I have seen the temp change from the “leveling” to the printing, but on my MK4s, the PLA temp seems to be set at 230 c ? Everything word=s well, but I’m wondering if I have the temp set wrong in Slicer, or is it a MK4S thing?
RE: Prusa Slicer Temp settings not uploading to printer
Temps for printing are determined by the slicer and included in the gcode file. They are not set on the printer. So check what your filament profile is set to. PLA can be printed that hot, but it depends on the brand. Also high speed printing usually requires a hotter temperature than normal to make the plastic more fluid so are you using a IS profile on your MK4S ?
