Newly assembled MK4S - X axis homing failed message before every print starts

I finished assembling my MK4S kit yesterday, completed the setup process on the wizard, and have run three prints so far. Every one has completed successfully, but each started with the messages "X axis homing failed" and "Calibrating X axis". The calibration passes, and the Y axis then calibrates fine without any failure message. Is this normal behaviour, and if not, how can I troubleshoot it to make sure it doesn't develop into something more problematic?

Best Answer by JP Guitars:

I had this on mine when I tidied up the cable from the MMU to the control box with a cable tie, the cable tie gave just enough resistance to movement to give X axis homing failed a few times then would normally pass, removed the tie and no more problems. You need to be looking for something restricting movement to left side that only restricts a little.

Thanks for the input, all. There were no obvious problems with either end -  everything looks like it should with no obvious protrusions, and movement of the X axis visibly reaches the end stops without resistance - however, twiddling around with it and finding nothing appears to have cleared up whatever obstruction the printer was sensing. It seems like it's a very sensitive piece of equipment.

RE:

I have the same problem with MK4S X axis. I don't have MMU unit. It was OK before installing update from MK4 to MK4S.

Everything is o.k. but X axis test. Printing is perfect when I skip this message.

They have added a warning about getting the zip tie head in the pocket in the instructions, but these pictures may help to clarify.
