MK4S – Random layer shift
Hello,
I’m experiencing random layer shifts (?) on my MK4S. Pictures below. The issue happens on both PETG and PLA parts.
The layer shift appears suddenly, persists for several layers, and then returns back to the original position. It is not seam-related and behaves like a mechanical layer shift.The printed part is mechanically weakened and can break at the location of the layer shift.
What I already checked: belt tension on X and Y (OK), motor pulleys / screws (tight), lubricated rods.

Has anyone experienced similar X-axis behavior on MK4 / MK4S?

Below you can see horizontal lines at the same height "cutting" through the whole model.
