MK4S is not compatible with Prusa Enclosure - Doors can not be closed
Hi
We purchased an assembled MK4S + Enclosure bundle. We followed the instructions and put everything together. However, we couldn't close the doors! They interfered with the control panel, as shown in the photo. Does anyone have the same issue and have a solution for it? Thanks for the suggestions.

Just drill a couple of lower holes.
It worked for me.

Before breaking out the power tools I would first double/triple check that no parts were assembled the wrong way around or something like that!

We had several "spare" types of rear display holders in the Enclosure accessories - I took a pair I liked (seemed to be correct to me), removed back plate of the display, installed the holders et voila, it works fine.

Have a look at the printables Prusa Enclosure files, there are now adapters for the xlcd holder.
See LCD - xLCD-adapter_L (MK4S).stl and xLCD-adapter_R (MK4S).stl

It totally is compatible. I just completed my mk4s build with the enclosure, and it fit beautifully. The xlcd mount is not the one from the mk4s kit. It is from the enclosure files.

I also ended up drilling holes in my enclosure to get the new moled LCD screen cover to work. Wish they mentioned that prior to release or in the notes. I could of just used my old one, or printed another one. But I paid for it, I want to use and see MK4S logo so I customized my enclosure.

So, before I go down a rabbit hole, only to have to come back out. I am trying to attach my MK4S LCD to a Prusa enclosure. I have printed the adaptors that people recommend. Is this what I should be doing?

RE:
Your not using the correct display mount. You have to print the correct one from Printables. It's clearly laid out what parts you need in the enclosure step by step instructions. It's in the very first page. Check it out.

Those are the exact pieces that I printed. My question was , are these what I need?. This confirms that yes, I pri Ted the right ones. Thank You. Now to find extra 3x12sT screws.

FWIW, we had an enclosed Mk3s inside a museum exhibit printing for 8 months straight. To mitigate visitors tampering with the control panel I left it attached to the printer frame. It fit just fine inside the [locked] enclosure. We also blocked access to the power supply mounted on the back of the enclosure.
After the exhibit closed we put a new Mk4s inside the enclosure, with the control panel still attached to the printer frame, and located the unit in a public programs area. Lockable and about as secure as it can be.
