Mk4S - is input shaping enabled?
Hello,
I have an MK4 which I've upgraded to an MK4S. Previously, in prusa slicer, I could select my mk4 printer as an "input shaper" printer or "normal" (no input shaper in the description of the printer) for printing without input shaper support. After my upgrade and re-running the configuration wizzard, I see no "input shaper" profile for the MK4s. If it matters I have a 0.6 nozzle installed currently. Is input shaper enabled by default on all profiles and that is why I do not see it mentioned anymore? Or is something else going on?
Thank you

How to turn it off if needed?
MK4S/MMU3

+1
I'm looking for a simple way to trade speed for print quality. On the MK4 with the two profiles it was significant.
I now upgraded my 2 MK4 to MK4S.
Thank you.

I think IS can be disabled with a line or two in the start g-code. I'm not sure of the codes required off the top of my head, but maybe comparing the start g-code of the MK4 profile vs. the MK4IS profile will help.

True. But this is the end of the hassle free PRUSA experience. Of course I can disable IS via gcode. But that means that I need to maintain my own profile and experiment with it. I am using PRUSA since August 2017 because I am not a tinkerer who loves spending hours in finding out how to get the best results. I just want to use the printer as a tool. That worked perfectly well until the MK4. I used the IS printer profile if I needed a quick prototype and the regular profile for my high quality models I am building. But I understood that these times seem to be over.
I did not print a lot with my two upgraded MK4S so far. Maybe this not necessary. But I doubt it. I love to see print setting presets SPEED, STRUCTURAL, and HIGH QUALITY. The latter may be rather slow.
