How to use Cura 4.61 with my MK4S

Hello,  I want to start printing airplanes from Eclipson, they recommend using Cura 4.61.  (I am a bit of a newbie here, sorry)

Will Prusa slicer recognize Cura 4.61 ?  not sure how to do this.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks Alan

Hi

I was intrigued by your post, not least because I have been looking for 3D printable aeroplanes for some time. Consequently I have had a long look at the site this afternoon and downloaded the free plan for the Gö WOLF V2. The downloaded .zip is very comprehensive containing .3mf files and gcode files for Bambu printers, presumably produced in Cura and not a lot of use on your Prusa machine. In addition the is a comprehensive list of .stl files for all the parts which you will need to slice to produce your own gcode.

This being the case I would recommend using the Prusa slicer and forgetting Cura.

Note that the FIRST PRINT tab starts with "Please be aware that there is not slicer restriction for our designs, you just need to respect the general parameters described in our drawing, specifically those marked in red. In addition to this, we recommend that you read our FAQ section. There you can find specific settings that you may need to modify to ensure that all of the internal structure is shown correctly." There is a lot of suggestions here base on Cura which shouldn't be too hard to translate to Prusa slicer settings as well as a lot of tips in the FAQs.
