How to downgrade the fimware?

In our environment the power supply often shut down or interrupted.

After updated the firmware to the latest version 6.1.3 the printer lost their last position when the printing process was interrupted when power supply shut down.

We haven't any trouble with Firmware 6.0.4

RE: How to downgrade the fimware?

I found two methods how to downgrade the firmawe.

One explaned in the User guide and another we can find on official website, see link https://help.prusa3d.com/article/how-to-update-firmware-mk4-s-mk3-9-s-mk3-5-xl_453086

Both methods doesn't works.

I found the sequence how to enter to downgrade mode - Push the reset button, immediately followed by clicking TWICE the selector knob.

I hope this helphul for ecverybody.

I cheked the sequence again. Correct is: I did it in this way: press the restart button and once the Original Prusa MK4 logo appears on the screen, press TWICE the knob.

... the usual reason for a loss of position during power panic recovery is a power stutter or uneven brownout.

When the power flickers as it goes off, or on, the printer begins recovery, loses power again, begins recovery again, loses power, begins, interrupted, on, off, on .... and it fails in confusion.   If your power supply drops out often in this manner then even a small a UPS unit should smooth out the transitions enough that the printer can keep up.

Cheerio,
