Help with bed leveling

Hello all,

I have a weird issue with the bed leveling of my mk4s.

I was experimenting on my my printer yesterday and decided to install the octopring bed levelling plugin. I was sure that I'd pass it with flying colours, becasuse so far the only problem this printer hasn't had is an ueven bed. I saw this

which was quite surprising. A bubble level and an app in my phone that I know is working said that the bed was maybe a tad out of level, but not like this.

So, considering that this bed will be on the cor one in the summer,  how do I fix it? My gut says shims, but I'd like a few other ideas around on this subject.

Remember, the mesh leveling is there to correct for a not-perfectly-flat bed. Normally a not-perfectly-flat bed isn't an issue, unless you do a lot of printed assemblies. I only did the nylock on my MK3 because I needed to so some assemblies where I needed the first layers of different models mount together without gaps. I haven't needed to do the same (or similar) to my MK4.

If it is important to you, replicating the MK3 nylock mod on your MK4 might be an avenue to explore. Note, you will need to source new screws that are long enough when you replace the expansion joints. I just checked the MK3 assembly instructions and you will need M3x12mm screws in addition to M3 nylock nuts. When shopping for the M3x12mm screws, I would advise looking for undercut countersink machine screws to avoid the nylock nut from bottoming out against the countersink before touching the bottom side of the bed heater PCB.
