Filament stuck in nextruder
Seems my filament is stuck in my nextruder, I have an MK4s that came assembled with the mmu3.
The MMU can't pull out the filament and neither can I. I tried heating it up to 290, but that didn't help. It's stuck in there. I've never opened it up before so I wouldn't know where to start.

Anthony,
When you state "The MMU can't pull the filament" are you trying to remove the filament without "unloading" from the printer menu? If so, you may need to "open the idler lever" on the extruder to release pressure on the filament. Prusa chat is very responsive if you need quicker response than the forums.

They actually determined that my gearbox was kaput. No way to release the filament.

Good heavens, well at least you have an answer. Hopefully you have it resolved now.

I had a similar problem: The filament was stuck inside the nozzle without any chance to push or pull. The only solution was a heatgun. Heating the whole nozzle and pushing with a metal stick the filament throughout the nozzle. Of course you need to unmount the nozzle from the heater block.
This happened to me only one time after I was printing with TPU followed by PLA. Next time I will to a cleaning of the nozzle with a purge filament (nylon).
