Filament sensor stuck?
I was in the middle of a print and ran out of filament. Mk4S detected and notified me. I had some trouble getting the filament out, so machine advised me to unlock the side door and pull it out. I did and removed the filament. However, the screen is stuck saying "Please remove filament from the filament sensor". I am unable to leave that screen and there seems to be nothing in the hole. I had to abort the print and then I was able to load filament normally. Is there an error in the filament sub-routine?

Thank you for the link, but it is for the Mk4, not the Mk4S. I don't think it was dirty, as it was visibly clear, only the third print on new hardware, and occurred only during the out-of-filament event. The sensor worked just fine after reset.

The Nextruder is the same on both so the instructions are the same. The area that this clears out you cannot visually see unless you disassembled the area where the spring loaded ball is.
I don't think a subroutine error is likely as I've changed filament many times mid print without issue, but maybe a certain order of steps caused it to happen.
Glad it's fixed. I've had the same issue on time before in the middle of the print and the compressed air worked.

I had the same issue - the printer ran out of filament mid-print, it asked me if the filament unloaded successfully, I confirmed it and then the screen got stuck saying "Please remove filament from the filament sensor". Had to abort the print, load filament and start the print from scratch.
