Quick-Swap nozzle system

I was trying out a Mk4S at a friend's, with the idea of buying one on Black Friday. I wonder how it is possible to advertise a "Quick-Swap nozzle system" when the procedure is anything but fast and safe. I believe that with my Mini+ (with some experience gained) you can replace the nozzle more quickly and safely, the only problem is the need for manual calibration of the first layer.
I assumed that this procedure was really simple and quick and I had not had the opportunity to verify until today.

RE: Quick-Swap nozzle system

It's faster in that you don't need to hot-tighten the nozzle. Which is some time saving.

RE: Quick-Swap nozzle system

At least now they seem to recommend swapping only the nozzle not the complete hotend, which never made any sense.

Feels reasonably fast for me now, short of being able to just replace a complete extruder in one fell swoop.

Yes, in fact, and then detaching and reattaching the cables seemed to me the best way to break something. So are you using models like this to speed up the operation?

In any case, it does not seem correct to speak of a Quick-Swap nozzle system.

Prusa now offers its own officially supported nozzle swap tools. For the Mk4S, see https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/how-to-replace-the-prusa-nozzle-mk4s-mk3-9s_734750

Works just fine.
