Possible to easily add enclosure after base build?

Hi - I'm thinking of getting the MK4S kit + enclosure. And building the kit first to use for PLA/PETG and then add on the enclosure later.

In adding the enclosure is it just wrap-around with minimal taking apart of the base kit, or do you need to remove lots of stuff to then re-build adding the enclosure?

Thanks,

JW

Hi JW,
when you put the Mk4 into an enclosure,
You remove the power supply and  replace it with a frame brace, and you remove the Display.

I did the prusa approved method, using the provided cables and I found it difficult to install the power supply on the outside of the enclosure, with the printer inside the enclosure, so next time I removed it, I Extended the power wires, power panic wires and the earth wire, adding connectors part way along the extensions, and now I can install the power supply, with the extended cables inside the enclosure, then I can install the printer chassis, and connect the cables to complete the  job.

the display cable is just long enough to reach the relocated display, on the front of the Enclosure.

I have an MMU on My printer, so I fitted hinges and a handle on the lid, to make access easier
