Mystery socket

My MK4S has an socket on the back of the printer. It shows white plastic guides. Does any know that purpose that socket offers?

I look forward to the answer to this mystery.

Thank you.

Kevin

RE: Mystery socket

Would you provide a picture? I'm having trouble envisioning what you are talking about. I could guess that it is the accelerometer cable pass-through on the WiFi board, but I might be wrong.

Hello Sembazuru,

Thank you for your message. Please see the image below. This is on the back side of the MK4S. It is below the USB port and to the left of the ethernet port.

RE: Mystery socket

It's to allow you to plug things into the main board.  For example that's where you plug on the optional accelerometer.

RE: Mystery socket

It is to allow you to attach the accelerometer with out opening the Buddy Enclosure.
