MK4S HF Nozzle is Input Shapping Used or Not?
Upgraded to the MK4S and noticed some ghosting issues I didn't remember having before. Thought it was due to the default input shaping profile, so used the new accelerometer to tune to my specific setup, but it made little difference. But then I started to notice that the new MK4S profiles don't mention input shaping. Is it just enabled by default in firmware now and doesn't need a specific slicer profile?

RE: MK4S HF Nozzle is Input Shapping Used or Not?
Input shapper it is just "enabled" in the new firmwares, input shapper parameters can be changed (you must know that to do, otherwise don't change them). MK4S is allways input shapper enabled. The Mk4s profiles will be just enaugh.

RE: MK4S HF Nozzle is Input Shapping Used or Not?
I also just upgraded my MK4 to MK4S. Before that I had two printers attached to Slicer: one with and one without Input Shaping (IS) for better print quality but slower. I found IS great for prototypes to see if things work together. But for full quality I used the non-IS profile which indeed delivered better print quality.
Now it seems that there is no choice. IS seems to be on all the time and I can only chose between "structural" and "speed".
Am I missing something? Is there a setting I can use to get the quality I used to get without IS on the MK4. Besides the nozzle little has changed from MK4 to MK4S. I cannot see that the MK4S delivers better or same quality with IS switched on than the MK4 without.
Thank you for taking the time to respond. I have not found anything useful. Searching the forum did not work (did not come back with results after minutes of hourglass).

Try:
M593 F0
at the end In the custom G-Code Settings of the printer.
RE: MK4S HF Nozzle is Input Shapping Used or Not?
Thank you. This is not the solution I was hoping for.
If I use that Gcode printing times will most likely not calculated properly. This is why they had different printer setup options in the past. That was hassle free.
To me the 3D printer is just a tool that I expect to work. This is what I got from PRUSA over the last 7 years. And it worked perfectly.
With that in mind I still believe I am missing something. I cannot believe that they don't offer high quality printing without IS.
