Is the MK4 to MK4S upgrade compatible with my normal non-high-flow MK4 Obxidian nozzle?

Hi, the title says it all: is the MK4 to MK4S upgrade compatible with my normal MK4 Obxidian nozzle that I usually use, can I still use it then? Because obviously when I bought my Obxidian nozzle it wasn't marked High Flow at the time, like the current one.

Best

RE:

There are now profiles for the new HF nozzles and for the "old" style nozzles. You just select the correct profile for your nozzle and print away.
The physical outer dimensions of both nozzle types are the same, in case you were wondering.

So the two Obxidian nozzles (normal/HF) are physically the same? Or do you mean outer dimensions are the same, but inner dimensions are different?

The important part for mechanical compatibility are the outer dimensions, so you do not need a different hotend for this. The differences in the inner dimensions (multiple bores, resulting in higher flow) are handled with the profiles.

I just checked in the Configuration Wizard: if you import the new profile, you can even (*gasp*) use the 0.4HF nozzle with IS on an "antique" MK4! 🙂
