Upgrade from MK 3-> MK 4s - oh - that's not quite right 🙂
Having some fun on the upgrade path. I have upgraded 2 printers from the MK3S -> MK4, and getting close to wrapping up my MK3S-> MK4S when...
I was hooking up the x-axis motor and noticed a oh-slight problem. The connector was flat versus white "cube". It sort of looks like I ended up with a Prusa Mini hardware. Contacted online help; sent some photo's - so it would be easier to show what the issue was. So getting a new part to be shipped out to fix the issue. There went my plans on getting that printer online today. Stuff happens; just happy I have 2 other MK 4 (no S) to continue my fun.
So riddle me this, just how many printers do I need to have running for it to be considered a print farm?
At least it is one of the easier motors to swap out...a quick eyeball on the other motors seems to look good.
The only temp stumped issue was that the new plastic and LCD cover did not want to fit. One of the plastic lips needed to be opened up a bit.
The upgrade kit was ordered the first day you could.
