Print quality with PCCF

Printed my MK4S parts last night, woke up to find this.

Lots of stringing, and fuzzy edges.

Is this a filament issue?

PRILINE Carbon Fiber PC, I purchased in november.

This looks like you did not dry the filament. If this is anything like Prusament PC-CF, this should print flawlessly, if it is dry enough.

Wow.  Dried the filament before I left for work...  Night and Day difference.

Brand new stuff sealed in a vacuum bag with desiccant and still needed drying.

RE: Print quality with PCCF

It is a common assumption by many people that new/fresh out of the sealed bag equals dry enough for printing. This is not true for filaments like PETG, TPU, PC, ASA and PA. To ensure repeatable results it is generally best to dry a new spool first at the recommended settings for temp and duration for that filament type. Some types like PA (Nylon) even require to print directly from the dryer, because they are very hygroscopic. And if you see stringing on your prints, first dry the filament before you begin changing any slicer settings.
