Missing a part? or is the manual out of date?
I'm upgrading from a 3S+ with the upgrade kit ... and in step 13 of the manual it has you insert a spacer 13x24x2.5 into the PG-front-case I have been through all the parts bags several times ... and I can't even find a bag that has that part listed on it let alone the part.
What am I misunderstanding? Is the manual out of date (I am using the one from the Prusa site) maybe? I can't find a part anywhere close to what that spacer says it is or looks like....
RE: Missing a part? or is the manual out of date?
Are you upgrading to a MK4 or a MK4S? Both my memory of building my MK4 then upgrading to the MK4S and looking at the current assembly guides, the MK4 has a 3D printed planetary (PG) gear cover and the MK4S has an injection molded PG cover. The 3D printed PG cover needed a spacer (as I recall when I built my MK4, my spacer was white and I had to install it in the cover, but the picture for the MK4 kit assembly shows a black spacer already installed in the cover) between the planet gears and the cover. The injection molded PG cover got rid of the need for that spacer.
