Layer gone haywire stringing?
My first prints on default PLA settings went great but then part 2 of a 2 plate print did this, I changed it to a new file with default Prusament PLA it was going fine I hear a scraping sound turn around see it's happened again an hr or so in. I'm going to attempt a temperature tower but I am inexperienced if anyone can easily tell me what's up? It seemed to be fine on the xyz callibration.

OK, check your grub screws. See: Step 26 on https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/3-x-axis-x-carriage-assembly_707749
Cheerio,
Is this a prebuilt machine or a kit?
I suspect you my have a wrongly assembled X drive gear.

Kit Yes, I wondered that, I was pretty confident with most of it but wondered if I didn't tighten something in X axis properly I think it suggested leaving motor loose while adjusting belt tension not sure if I've done something wrong there. Was doing MK4 with S upgrade at same time. It is weird it did several successful prints before this though if it was a problem from the start?

RE:
Thanks! I did an XYZ test after the failed one and indeed X failed, I wondered if manually moving it to the left and setting it as zero would fix it as it had worked on my initial Z fail, sure enough it did pass the test then, so as an experiment since it claimed everything was ready to go I just hit print again on it.
For a while it was still clipping the prints, the items are like a bowl shape and my suspicion is that either humidity or temperature has caused them to curl up, I lowered the speed to 50% when it was clipping them and the following layers turned out much cleaner, didn't want to wait 18hrs so have put it back up to 80% and so far so good, I think it will be okay now that the bowl shape has more structure. Thanks for all the suggestions I will double check those parts after this experiment.
