Heatbed Thermistor Issue?
Hello,
I recently upgraded my MK4 that i've had for about a year now to the MK4S and have had a number of issues never seen the biggest one is preventing me from using my printer right now as i get a 26201 error. As the bed is heating no issues until it gets to about 75C. Then the readout on the LCD shows temperature bounding all over the place down 2C, up 6C, back to probably where it is. The hotter it gets, ie., into the 90C range for PETG the worse the error seems to get. I have followed the steps on the 26201 error and even taken a multimeter to the thermistor to confirm at high temperatures i do see the resistance fluctuating. 12.5k ohms then 12.3k ohms then 12.7k ohms even though the printer is off and naturally cooling. It should be steadily increasing in resistance as it cools but i've never seen a thermistor "fail" like this before.
Before i go order a $6 part and pay $40 shipping to Canada, want to know if anyone has seen this issue before? As i'm doing a real measurement with a multimeter i'm assuming the thermistor is failing?

have you checked the prices with Printed Soli?
they are US based and may have better delivery costs.

Thanks for the tip! Checked them out but they don't seem to ship to Canada (so much for being the 51st state haha)

Partsbuilt3D is US based (Ohio) and stocks many Prusa parts. I've bought an MK4S heatbed thermistor from them. Don't know whether they ship to Canada though.
