Resume print after pausing causes temporary loss of infill

I am printing a 200mm x 200mm x 1.5mm panel sliced using the Prusaslicer Generic PETG profile. 0.4mm nozzle and all default settings on the MK4. The printer has the latest firmware 6.1.2 installed along with drivers/apps 2.8.0.

Having pressed the Pause button to clean the nozzle, on resuming, the printer seems to have temporarily skipped a few seconds of infill, leaving a void where there should have been infill. I did this twice within a couple of minutes, as can be seen in my photo.

Any ideas what is going on?

RE: Resume print after pausing causes temporary loss of infill

I've experienced exactly the same issue on the mk4s, with gyroidal infill being skipped for quite a duration after resuming from pause. This seems like a persistent bug, as I'm using the latest Alpha firmware as of December 2024.

I don't know if there's a known workaround or bug fix for this.

I have experienced this pause issue yet again on my MK4S now! Using the Prusaslicer Generic PETG profile. 0.4mm nozzle and all default settings on the MK4S. The printer has the latest firmware 6.2.4 installed along with Prusaslicer 2.9.2.

Having pressed the Pause button to clean the nozzle, on resuming, the printer seems to have temporarily skipped a few seconds of infill, leaving a void where there should have been infill (as shown in the attached image).

Along with this recurring issue, there is always an accompanying blob of filament that is deposited on resuming which is very annoying and has potential to ruin a print.
