pelling off
hello
i have this problem :
it's PLA, standard settings in prusa slicer
in input shaper mod but i have the same problem in standard mod
it's a MK4 upgrade from a MK3S+
the bed is at 60°C and at the beginning of the print it's not like that it's perfectly flat
so what can i do ? it's a temperature problem ? i can put the printer into the enclosure but it will change something in your opinion ?
thank you 🙂
Warping overcoming bed adhesion. Is that silk PLA? Silk is often prone to larger thermal contraction than vanilla PLA.
The usual comments about bed cleaning apply, it MUST be clean.
To reduce warping: Use as little fill as you can. If possible cut any long filament runs into multiple short ones. Make certain you are not printing in a draft. Try adding 5° - 10° to the bed temperature. You might get some benefit from adding a brim; slowing the print sometimes helps.
Cheerio,
RE:
hello, thks for the answer
yes it's silk PLA, from Azure Film, well i have the same issue with prusa PLA ...
the bed is clean, the cleanest it can be ^^, i wash it before each print 🙂
the brim is set only for exterior but i realize the size of the brim is by default set on zero ..
fill is 15%,
i will add 5° on the bed and add a brim to start
i'll make a test right know and let you know 🙂
again thank you for the advices
RE: pelling off
Such a moderately sized PLA object shouldn't need a brim if everything works fine.
If your sheet is really clean, free of any fat stains (not touched where you print with your bare hands), there could be an issue with your z-offset. In the case of the Mk4 that could be caused by a nozzle that is not 100% clean. How does the first layer look like from below? perfectly flat or are there lane ridges visible?
What do you mean by that: "the bed is at 60°C and at the beginning of the print it's not like that it's perfectly flat"?
What is not perfectly flat? The first layer of the print?

RE: pelling off
hello
i've up the temp by 10°, same problem
the plate is washed with soap before each print 😉
the plate is the standard IT-22 , maybe i can try with the satin ?
the first layers are flat and when it continues it seems the other slices "pull up" the firsts i don't know how to describe it better ^^
i launch another test now and make a photo of the first layers
RE: pelling off
Hm, first layer does look ok, detachment aside. Is the build plate already 1 or 2 years old or fairly new? They do degrade over time, no mater how much you wash.

RE: pelling off
so in conclusion ^^
another time thank you for the advices, a mix of them and the print is perfect !
