MultiMaterial printing dosen't work

hello I'm trying to get the MultiMaterial printing to work recently and it doesn't work at all. it looks fine in the slicer, added M600 to tool change in the Gcode but when brought to the printer and press print I'm meet with a black screen for all eternity

any help would be appreciated

Best Answer by Lynn:

Are you using Prusa-link to copy the file to the USB drive before you select print on your printer?  If so there is a bug that has already been reported.  For this case you can print multicolor files directly from Prusaslicer via Prusa-link, but if you select the multicolor file for printing off the usb drive at the printer you get a mostly blank screen the never goes away. If I remember correctly this started happening when BGCode was introduced.

I get it work by disabling BGCode and printing directly from the slicer.

Hi  Toonski,
Try this gcode, with PETG,
Or change the project to a different filament.

this was on a Mk3.9. in a cold shed. the mark on the build plate was where i overheated it with a hot air blower trying to get the heat high enough to start the print... this build sheet has had a hard life...

I try to make safe suggestions,You should understand the context and ensure you are happy that they are safe before attempting to apply my suggestions, what you do, is YOUR responsibility. Location Halifax UK
