Issues with support scarring trying to print a dodecahedron with a MK4 (factory assembled)
I've been having issues with trying to get this printed with the most minimal amount of scarring as possible. If I print it flat. the resessed areas on the bottom looks like nabisco shredded wheat. Before the major input shaper upgrade, I used to have a nice crosshatched area that would pull away and leave a pretty clean bottom on other prints. I'm not sure if this is because of input shaper or what though. Ive tried rotating it to print on one of the corners and that doesnt help either. In the end, I will be applying stickers to the each one of the sides. Im printing this in PLA at .20mm with a .4 mm nozzle any tips would be helpful (no pun intended). If more information is needed, I can get that later on tonight. I know silk styles scar more than others, this was just a test run. the finished print will not be in silk PLA.
