How do you slice this?

I recently printed this: https://www.printables.com/model/545197-prusa-tools-rugged-boxes-parametric

It prints in multiple colours on the same layer, can anyone point me in the direction of somewhere I can learn how to do that as I have a couple of projects where I would like to do similar?

RE:

This can be done by modifying the model in a CAD program such as Fusion 360 and saving the text (or different colored parts) as different bodies. Then you open all bodies at the same time in Prusaslicer and it will recognize that they are a single model. You can then choose a different extruder for each body.

Alternatively, you can actually use the text and svg options within Prusaslicer itself. For the box lid you need to make sure its lid side down and then you can add the respective text or svg graphic (in the correct orientation). I usually make them about 1mm thick but that might be overkill. Then assign the correct extruders to the text and the box lid.

Here's an example that I printed using the svg feature of Prusaslicer for a multi-color print https://www.printables.com/model/674499-adventure-time-shutter-box-pencil-case but the model I uploaded uses the CAD method so you can see how that works too.

Hope that helps.

Thanks. That makes sense, I'll try a dummy set up when I get half an hour to play around.
