Flex 98A Print with 5.0RC

Hi!

Did some Flex 98A prints with the 4.72 firmware (not same 3D model) and every print went great. But now with slicer 2.6.1 and the 5.0 RC firmware it prints the first layers OK, then it triggers filament change(it senses some fault) every other layer?

Anyone have an idea what gone wrong?

Just tried the old 3D model that was sliced before and printed successfully several times on fw 4.7.2 - the same problem here as well.

Printed about 20 layers then triggered a fault and a change of filament?

I'd revert back to 4.7.2 to make sure it's related to firmware version and not a hardware issue that started to occur after your upgrade. If it's indeed a fw issue, opening a ticket on their github site is more likely to bring it to Prusa's attention. FWIW, I haven't noticed this behavior on my Mk4 myself.

Found the problem, I recalibrated the filament sensor - now it works (with 4.7.2 and 5.0RC)

My theory is that when the flex filament went a bit stretched the filament sensor thought the filament went bad and ejected.
