Build plate sided artefacts

Hello Community!

It did a test print for a litte project I'm doing, and encountered some artefact I've never had before. Maybe someone here on the forum can tell me what happened.

The problem occurs only at some(!) edges and corners. It seems the material in these areas has shrunken more than the rest. Maybe it even separated from the build plate, but that's hard to find out afterwards. The rest of the part adhered very good to the bed. The infill isn't much different from the rest either, so I guessing why the this occurs so locally. The material is PETG (Prusament Urban Grey). The artefacts shown all are on the build plate side.

I also added the PrusaSlicer file. (zipped, other it would allow me to attach)

Thanks for the comments!

The marks show places where you lost adhesion; make sure the build sheet is scrupulously clean but in this case the cause is likely to be warping.  Protect the printer from drafts/cold air - in summer air conditioning outlets sometimes cause issues.  If this is your own design break the longer layer lines with some stress relieving voids, these need to be in the mid to upper layers of the print.  Try a different infill or change the infill - say cubic near the print sheet and gyroid higher up.

And look at threads here about adhesion and warping.

Thank for the advice! Draft could very well be the cause, since the printer is located near a window which in summer is always open.

I'm not sure if I exactly understand what you mean by stress relieving voids. Neither did I know you were able to change the infill type within a single part!

Anything to break long straight walls/ribs/plates in the upper layer where thermal contraction will induce warping:

This is a simplified example, in practice any tiny diversion, say a cosmetic seeming rib or groove that diverts the perimeter layers a millimetre or so will be enough to transfer the stress to a cuple of corners that can flex slightly in contraction leaving everything else in place.

Look up modifiers.

Cheerio,
