USB Flash drives stop working?

Hello everyone, I am a new MK4 owner. I have been having issues now with 3 different USB flash sticks. They are 2 different PNY 64GB and a Sandisk 32Gb. After wirelessly transferring 3 or print g-codes I get a "insufficient memory device" notification. I reformat the drives on my laptop without issue, however the printer still doesnt want to run them. Any ideas?

I forgot to note, the printer itself still recognizes the drive and will print from it.

I have a post about the similar thing with the Mini.  I don't know what it is, but they just stop working for me.  I think there is a limit to the number of files, but you reformatted.  Did you reformat in the right format- I forget which.

I do notice the sticks get and stay hot.  I buy cheaper and smaller ones, and throw them away when they start to hiccup.

Bog fan of the doubel ender ones that are USB-_C and Regualr USB on the other end.

I have been trying to use nice stubby ones. They fit nice and tidy to the control panel. I usually do the exFat format. I am not an IT type, so I am winging it.

Oddly enough, a cheap $3 throw-away 3Gb flash I got in a swag bag has lasted the longest. Who knows man?!

I usually do the exFat format.

The Prusa printer does not recognize the exFat format.

It only recognizes the FAT32 format!

My Mini+ does recognize the usb stick in exFat format but then the files are not visible.

Ahh, thank you. FAT32 doesn't apply to anything over 32 Gb says google. That's why my cheap, smaller drives work.

Thank you for making me aware of that.

Then 'google' is wrong.

Fat32 is usable on disks up to a maximum of 2TB.

Maximum file size in this case is 4GB

To format Fat32 up to 2TB you will need a third party format program.

Because that cannot be done within Windows.
