Swapping nozzle. Nozzle only or complet

Hi,  since i broke a wire of the thermistor when swapping a complete hotend with nozzle. (i find it very difficult to push the cable in the slot), i wonder whats better if you swap more often.

Keep the hotend plugged in and only change the nozzle or is it better to change the whole thing.

I'm curios how long the tiny connectors will withstand that ?

RE: Swapping nozzle. Nozzle only or complet

I started with the Prusa-recommended method of removing the hotend but quickly broke a thermistor cable on my XL trying to push it through the slot. From there on, I swap nozzle Mk3-style buy simply unscrewing the nozzle while holding the heater block in place with the universal wrench. On the Mk4, that's super easy because of the unhindered access to the hotend. On the XL, it requires a bit of finesse, or simply dropping the hotend a bit to get easier access.

Thank you fuchsr.  I find the Mk4 swapping using the official method much slower and more perilous compared to the swap on the Mk3, contrary to the advertising which persuaded me to buy the machine.  I am going to start swapping nozzles while supporting the heat block without fussing around with the cables and connectors.  And it can be done cold!
