Printer does not finish booting up
Happy new year everyone!
Unfortunately I had a power outage a short while ago and when I went to check on my printer I realized it would not boot up anymore.
It gets stuck on this screen and doesn't do anything anymore. I already contacted the live chat, but unfortunately it's not open over the holidays.
Has anybody else encountered this problem?

Hi, I have a similar problem. After upgrading from 5.1.0 to 5.1.2 my MK4 stops often with the same screen message as in your post. At random starts it boots into the normal menu. When an USB-stick with the firmware 5.1.2 file is plugged in at a cold-start, it starts flashing firmware again...
Downgrading to 5.1.0 "solves" the problem, but of course I am not happy with that.

Unfortunately, the only remedy I could find was resetting back to factory settings and then reflashing the correct firmware.
I tried several different USB sticks with different firmwares (5.0, 5.1 and 5.1.2) and starting the printer with the alternative method as suggested by the support chat, but unfortunately the only thing that worked was completelly resetting it. On the upside, that only took like 15 minutes or so with the self test and then it worked again like a charm and had no further problems.

Starting up probarly works if you puss the selector button while turning on the printer
